Sacred Scents

What are the similarities and differences between sacred scents and other perfumes out there? Some perfume science thrown your way! so duck if you know it and catch if you were not aware. Perfume is made with base notes, heart/mid notes, and top notes. The base is what lasts the longest in a scent. Mid or heart notes are not as long as the base but longer than the top and top notes are the shortest-lasting parts of a scent.

Sacred Scents possess the characteristics of base notes which is unique because there will always be one or a combination of the four sacred medicines:

CEDAR | SAGE | SWEETGRASS | TOBACCO

The heart notes and top notes will be what is familiar with other perfumes and will vary.

Another unique but not uncommon aspect of Sacred Scents is the entire brand is non-binary or as said in the colonial context “unisex”. I shy away from using the term unisex because it gives this hint that there are only two genders.
